Would a family of three be allowed to rent a 1 bedroom or even a bachelor ?
My husband and I have been living in small spaces since we met. We don’t own a ton of clutter or junk and keep our furniture and belongings sparse. We have a 24 month old girl and my husband is thinking of accepting a job offer in Vancouver. The rent there is insane, and while we get settled and save some cash, we’d really like to rent a one bedroom, or even a large bachelor. Right now our apartment is only 500 sq with two tiny bedrooms, and we’re okay with that. We’re fine with the concept of living somewhere tiny for a year just to get our bearings. Would an apartment owner let us do that, generally?
Generally, no. It’s hard on an appt when you have so many.
