Deep Purple would against a wall painted furniture in dark wenge?

Home About moving and the room is medium size, has a small Skylights, and when the head of our bed (the body in silver) is painted on the wall that we are looking for a rich Deep Purple, and we are very happy wenge furniture but I am concerned that there is a total look of the little room? Suggestions?
